Environmental Building News covers a wide range of building topics related to environmental quality. The bimonthly newsletter targets builders, designers and sophisticated consumers.

Now in its fourth year of publication, EBN has presented in-depth reports on many topics: such as steel framing, carpeting, heating fuels, storm water management, construction waste, recycled plastic lumber and many more. These in-depth reports try to analyze the environmental impact from extraction to disposal. Sometimes, good information doesn't exist, but at least the EBN staff identifies all the pertinent issues. In many cases, there is no clear good or bad. EBN staff does a good job of presenting all the pros and cons for some very complicated issues.

In addition to detailed reports, the newsletter also presents brief news pieces, identifies promising materials and technologies, describes construction details and reviews books.
