Premier 2 Ground-source Heat Pump
WaterFurnace's new Premier 2 ground-source heat pump offers higher efficiency than their previous model along with new microprocessor controls, new expansion valve, two-speed compressor and variable speed blower.
The new equipment achieves a COP of 4.5 and an EER up to 20. According to WaterFurnace, at least 70 percent of the annual load can be met with the compressor's lower speed. Single speed units are available from 3/4 to 4 tons, while two-speed units range from 3/4 to 6 tons. Vertical and horizontal units are available. An optional desuperheater provides water heating whenever the system is running.
