Programmable Control for HRVs

Nutech Energy Systems, Inc. Programmable Ventilation Control (PVC) lets home owners fine-tune a heat recovery ventilator (HRV) for nearly any schedule or lifestyle. Mounted in a single box in the living area, the PVC is an add-on for the company's Lifebreath Residential HRVs (100, 155, 200, 195, 300, 500 and 900 cfm models), and houses three separate controls. The dehumidistat ventilation control continually monitors house humidity, while the Air Sentry Air Quality Monitor looks for unwanted gasses. (The company says it can sniff out gasses, cigarette smoke, cleaning compounds, cooking odors, paints and solvents and formaldehyde.)

A seven day, four-event, 24-hour programmable timer lets you leave the machine in standby mode during the day, while running it at low speed during the evening. The dehumidistat and Air Quality Monitor will crank up the speed when they detect high humidity or unwanted odors. List price is $249.00
