Foam Inserts for Concrete Blocks

Perform Block Inserts are for people who build with concrete block, and who want to add some insulating value to their walls without using exterior foam. The expanded polystyrene inserts are designed to be slipped into the cores of the blocks before the blocks are laid. The inserts can be custom-cut to fit blocks from 6 inches to 12 inches thick. The R-value of the finished wall depends on the density of the concrete used in the block, but according to the manufacturer it ranges from R-5.9 to R-11.4.
