Gridcore® products are engineered panels made from recycled fibers. The innovative honeycomb panels are made entirely from recycled paper and cardboard, as well as agricultural fibers. The panels themselves can also be recycled. The panels are formaldehyde free and will not offgas during fabrication or after installation. Standard 3/4 in. Gridcore Panels have the bending strength of low-density particleboard at less than half the weight. They can be painted, laminated, edge banded, even curved to custom radii. Product applications include furniture, cabinetry, exhibits, displays, stage sets, interior design and industrial components. Gridcore Systems International (GSI) has distribution agreements with Weyerhauser Company and Laird Plastics giving national coverage and local support. GSI is the exclusive licensee of technology originally developed by the US Department of Agriculture.
