Capri's new recessed downlight combines two key energy-saving features into a single fixture. First, the fixture houses two horizontally-mounted 13-Watt compact fluorescent lamps. Second, the enclosure is IC-rated, so insulation can be tightly fitted around it. The basic housing, cataloged as F6213ICN1, contains a 120-volt normal power factor ballast, but a high-power factor ballast can also be specified. A variety of trims are available, including clear or gold specular reflectors and black or white baffles. The housing mounts on sliding bar hangers and fits into a 2x8 joist bay.
