Panasonic's three new fan/light models combine super-quiet operation, energy efficiency and long service life. The WhisperLite series offers 70, 80 and 110 cfm models. All are exceptionally quiet. The 70 cfm model has a noise rating of 0.5 sones, which has been certified by the Home Ventilating Institute (HVI) and meets the Washington State Ventilation code. One key feature of these fans is large blades--60 percent larger than other fans. This allows them to move more air with slower rotational speed and less noise. The fan motors are highly energy efficient and rated for continuous operation.

In all models, light is provided by two 13-watt compact fluorescent lamps. The Panasonic quad-tube lamps offer great color rendition (84 CRI) and warm light (2,700K). Each lamp provides about the same amount of light as a 60-watt incandescent, but uses only 25 percent of the energy.
