Natural Cork, Inc.
Cork flooring is enjoying a strong resurgence in popularity as more people begin to appreciate the distinctive look of the material, the need for better indoor air quality, the desire for overall comfort and environmental issues related to other building materials. Natural Cork, LLC offers a number of flooring products made from cork:

Parquet Tiles are 12" x 12" and 12" x 24". They are prefinished with a UV acrylic that releases no Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs).

Floating Floor™ is a system of interlocking one- by three-foot planks. The surface layer is 100 percent cork with a UV-cured acrylic finish. The middle layer of MDF forms interlocking tongues and grooves that join the strips together. The base layer of attached cork underlayment provides significant acoustic insulation. Natural Cork Floating Floor™ planks contain no polyvinylchloride (PVC).

Underlayment and acoustical insulation for use under hardwood and laminated flooring is made from rolls and sheets of flexible cork. Natural Cork Underlayment provides over 50 dB of sound reduction, meeting or exceeding multi-level code requirements in all applications.

Full technical and architectural specifications for all Natural Cork products, as well as installation and maintenance instructions, can be found at the Natural Cork Web site.

Natural Cork products are made only from the renewable bark of the cork oak tree: no trees are ever cut down. Waste cork from the stopper industry (wine corks) and low quality bark to produce cork granules. Flooring tiles are produced from cork granules bound with resins and molded to obtain the desired density under pressure and heat. The cork surface can be waxed, varnished, urethane or acrylic coated.
