Polyglass® USA, the leading manufacturer of modified bitumen roofing products, recently introduced its Kool Roof Solutions Package, including its Polykool, Polybianko and PolyFresko white membranes as well as its PG 700 and Polybrite white coatings.
Polyglass’ white membranes are manufactured with patented ADESO® Technology, a dual-compound technology that combines a top ply of APP modified bitumen compound with a self-adhesive bottom ply, providing unmatched durability and waterproofing protection. This self-adhesive technology also provides a safe, easy and efficient application, eliminating the need for fasteners and other installation accessories.
Polykool, Polybianko and PolyFresko incorporate a unique, high-performance fiberglass-reinforced polyester mat, manufactured with recycled content, which provides superior dimensional stability and enhanced puncture resistance. These membranes can also decrease roofing maintenance and replacement costs, offering unique resistance to contaminants such as animal fat, oil and grease, facilitating easy cleaning.
Polykool, Polybianko and PolyFresko not only provide enhanced performance and durability, they are also environmentally friendly, featuring highly reflective white surfaces that can improve the aesthetic appearance of a building and reduce energy consumption, helping to minimize the heat island effect. Because of their energy efficiency, these membranes are CRRC-listed and California Title 24-compliant, and can significantly contribute toward LEED® credit requirements.
The PolyFresko product line includes PolyFresko SA P APP, SA P SBS, APP torch and SBS mop. These membranes feature unique extra-fine, white mineral granules that are treated with the coating, locking the properties of the coating into the granule. These granules offer enhanced resistance to acid rain, causing rain water to form into beads and flow off of the roof, providing superior waterproofing protection and enhanced energy efficiency. Because of their superior energy efficiency, PolyFresko membranes are approved by Miami-Dade, UL classifications, the Florida building code (FBC), the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI), Factory Mutual and the United States Green Building Council (USGBC).
PolyFresko also features a high-performance, reinforced polyester mat, which provides superior strength and dimensional stability, along with Polyglass’ patented SEALLap® technology, which strengthens bonding at laps and provides superior acid resistance and waterproofing protection. PolyFresko is designed for use as a primary weathering surface on new construction, BUR repair installations, re-roofing and re-cover applications, and can also be used in various flashing applications. Packaged in the patented EASYBOX™, PolyFresko also provides easy handling and installation.
As part of its Kool Roof Solutions Package, Polyglass has also introduced its Polybrite and PG 700 lines of white, reflective coatings to its manufacturing capabilities. These high-performance coatings provide enhanced energy efficiency, helping to minimize the heating and cooling costs of a building and reduce the heat island effect.

The PolyPlus product line includes PolyPlus 35 Premium Modified-Bitumen Adhesive, PolyPlus 45 Premium Flashing Cement, PolyPlus 50 Premium MB Flashing Cement, PolyPlus 60 Premium Non-Fibered Aluminum Roof Coating and PolyPlus 65 Premium Fibered Aluminum Roof Coating.
These premium coatings provide long-lasting, high-performance protection for virtually any roofing system. Polyplus 60 and 65 provide enhanced durability and improved coverage for asphalt-based roofs, concrete roofs and most metal roof surfaces, while PolyPlus 35, 45 and 50 offer improved adhesion performance and flexibility.

While PG 100 is a general-purpose foundation coating that provides enhanced protection for asphalt-based roofing material, PG 200 and 300 are cold-applied bonding agents that can be used as insulation adhesives in built-up systems or as granule adhesives for non-nailable roof decks.
As cold-applied, trowel-grade cements, PG 400, 450 and 500 are designed to seal and repair virtually any type of roofing system and can be used to flash details and repair waterproofing at moving joints and roof penetrations.
PG 600 and 650 provide superior coating coverage for asphalt-based roofs and concrete surfaces as well as most metal roof surfaces. While PG 600 offers quick and easy application and increased coverage, PG 650 provides long-lasting reflectivity and durability.
A solvent-free, asphalt-based, clay emulsion roof coating, PG 800 provides superior versatility, water resistance and durability for applications over smooth-surfaced asphalt built-up and modified-bitumen roof systems.
