BP’s R-4 Insulsheathing: Strength and insulation in one lightweight panel

Montreal, — Building Products of Canada Corp. is pleased to announce the anticipated launch of its R-4 Insulsheathing, the strongest, most energy efficient and cost-effective insulation board on the market.

R-4 Insulsheathing combines the insulation strength values of polystyrene with the highly efficient weather and acoustic barrier properties of wood fibre. The result for builders, architects and homeowners is a breathable insulation building product that’s quick and easy to install, and offers years of durable energy efficiency.

Lightweight polystyrene for strength
R-4 Insulsheathing features a polystyrene layer with an effective thermal blocker and highly efficient insulation.

Wood fibre sound and weather barrier
The second layer in every R-4 Insulsheathing board is made from 100% recycled wood fibre, with a highly effective acoustic and weather barrier.
