Millennium Technologies, Inc., Intellectual Property owner and Licensor of MILLENNIUMBLOK® Insulated Concrete Forms announces that the first of 20+ composite ICF manufacturing plants in China has shipped!!

MILLENNIUM TECHNOLOGY, INC. located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, has licensed MillenniumBlok® Asia, a politically and financially substantial entity based in Beijing, China to manufacture, market and distribute MillenniumBlok® Insulated Concrete Forms in both mainland China and in Taiwan. It will be the first and, thus far, the only composite (made with recycled polystyrene and cement as opposed to the pure polystyrene ICF’s) ICF in China. The MillenniumBlok® wall system has already been formally approved by the Chinese government for up to five stories.

BENEFITS: Benefits that attracted the group over other composite ICF’s are: 1. MillenniumBlok® is made as a unitary block, not in halves and glued together which is prone to splitting while the block is being filled with concrete. 2. Lateral load resistance is superior because of the octagonal shaped cells as opposed to cylindrical. 3. The plants, capable of manufacturing 1000 + blocks per day, are under $1 million US dollars each as opposed to the $5 to $7 million US dollars each that our competitors are currently quoting.

WORLD WIDE GROWTH: MillenniumBlok®’s patented incredibly strong octagonal cell shape, the ability to produce the block in 10”, 11”, 12”, 13”, and 14” increments (thickness), and the ability to produce in 48 or 96” lengths (or in China’s case one meter or two meters) all from one patented mold, plus the relatively low start-up costs has generated enthusiastic discussions with potential licensee groups in Mexico, Indonesia, the Philippines and several countries in South America.

HERE IN THE USA: MillenniumBlok® is currently being produced by Millennium Manufacturing, Inc., the licensee in the United States and sister company to Millennium Technologies, Inc.. MMI is also located in Colorado Springs, Colorado and plans to open up plant #2 in St. Mary’s, Georgia in late 2009 to support Laurel Island (www.laurelisland.com), an upscale “green” island development just north of Jacksonville, Florida. We are currently busy in the Southwest and Southeast United States and experiencing growth in the Pacific Northwest.
