Urban Hardwoods to open retail showroom in San Francisco

San Francisco, CA – Urban Hardwoods is proud to announce the March 2nd opening of its newest retail showroom at 553 Pacific Avenue in Jackson Square. This history-rich showroom will present Urban Hardwoods' modern furniture hand-made in Seattle. The product assortment of tables for all occasions, headboards, and the finest in decorative bowls is part of a growing commitment to delivering an honest and sensory-loaded shopping experience, perfect for our time. Urban Hardwoods has been the most progressive, responsible, and sustainable wood furniture manufacturer/retailer in America since 2002. Wood used in production comes from trees salvaged due to disease, or natural causes. The manufacturing process, taking place within a two mile radius, has been designed to minimize and reuse as many resources as possible. Sustainable Industries Magazine awarded Urban Hardwoods as one of the Top 10 Green Building Products of 20081 for its tree salvaging efforts and reducing waste and resources in its drying and milling process. In August 20072 and November 20083, Seattle Magazine included Urban Hardwoods' Seattle showroom among its annual Top Shops for transforming salvaged trees into beautiful furniture. Urban Hardwoods grew from sound vision and a remarkable natural resource, leading the way in urban tree salvage. The Bay Area has become part of a natural progression of an independently owned and operated company of dedicated individuals. Visit us and discover the table of a lifetime.
